Introduction:
Safety is the foundation of all that we do. Many say that love is the foundation of a relationship, in the creative process, in raising children. I disagree. Love is mercurial. The intensity of love waxes and wanes all the time. What keeps us going is safety. When we feel safe, we feel ready to wait for love to return, or to explore some scary topic as we write or paint or express our feelings, positive and negative, to another.
Safety, simply put, is our willingness to share, with another, information and feelings about ourselves knowing that this person will not use this special information to hurt us. When we don’t feel safe, all expression of thought, emotions, intuitions, and insights become curtailed or limited to specific channels, those that we feel safe enough to explore, or we shut down entirely.
The Safety Labyrinths are designed to help us feel safe and to create safety in the world around us.

Name: Uniquely Ourselves, United In Safety, We Joyfully Leap To Create This Moment and The Next Labyrinth –
A Wedding Katubab
Intention: This labyrinth has at its center a Jewish wedding katubah or contract. This labyrinth represents the celebration that occurs when two individuals, who are willing to explore him or herself, find someone who is also an explorer. As they learn more about each other, they realize that each makes the other feel safe enough to share what is usually private. When this occurs, the two individuals, each on a separate journey, join together to create this moment and the next with love, with a deep sense of safety, and with playful joy.
Special note: The contract is written in the center of a 24″ x 24″ sheet of white archival paper. The labyrinth is painted around the katubah using acrylic paint.
Cost: $500.00 (includes handbook) + shipping and handling
