Introduction:

Layered labyrinths are s small set of my labyrinth designs. I began creating these fifteen years ago when I became curious about how two labyrinths might interact with each other.

A layered labyrinth design means that one labyrinth design has been superimposed over a second labyrinth design. There is a common center. The result is that you have two labyrinths and their energies to work with and four possible ways to run the labyrinths.

Intention: Frequently in our lives, we need to evaluate how some aspect of our life is working for us and to determine whether we need to embark on a new path. This labyrinth is designed to assist us in investigating the possible new paths and determining which one we should follow.

Name: Moving With Change, Embracing The Process – Circle and Diamond Labyrinth
Intention: To enable individuals to recognize the numerous choices which are available and to feel more secure in their ability to recognize their world after the significant choice is made.

Special note: You can begin at the opening to the blue diamond labyrinth or the yellow circular labyrinth. You can walk the same color in and out or change colors in the center. Each inward and outward combination is a different energetic journey.

Name: The Two Hearts Layered Labyrinth for Mothers and their Children

Intention: To enhance the formation of conscious and current connections between mother and child or father and child during pregnancy, through early childhood, and beyond.

In this labyrinth, the larger green labyrinth represents the mother and the smaller purple labyrinth represents the child. Each labyrinth contains the heart of the other. The purple heart is the child’s and the green heart is the mothers. The labyrinths and the hearts symbolize the conscious connections.

Name: Union of Heaven and Earth Labyrinth

Intention: To assist us in integrating our physical and metaphysical lives.

Labyrinth type and path: A one handed labyrinth. You can begin at the opening to the red triangle or the violet. You can walk the same color in and out or change colors in the center. Each inward and outward combination is a different energetic journey.
